QuickASP

Neosentials developed QuickASP as a learning tool for James Madison University's Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) program. It served as a web-based application development environment for non-traditional computer programming students. Neosentials also wrote and packaged a book with QuickASP that was used as a lab manual and textbook for an upper division ISAT computer programming course from 2004 to 2007. The QuickASP development environment effectively simulated a local code editing application, easing the learning process for non-Computer-Science students. By removing the need to set up a web server and constantly upload files for testing, students were less distracted by the hassles or server-side technology and could focus on learning to develop web-based programs with ASP (Active Server Pages) technology.
